We're happy to announce big changes at Paonia.com!

For years now, Paonia.com has been building a multi-faceted local business. In such a small economy it was necessary to diversify. What started with dialup, grew into Broadband and eventually consulting services, structured cabling services, even telephone and multi-media systems. Fortunately, the business has thrived and recently we have been approached by investors interested in acquiring one facet of our business.

Sopris Surfers, an ISP located in Carbondale, has recently been involved in consolidating Broadband Wireless Providers across the Western Slope. They have a plan that we think will improve connectivity in our area. We have decided to sell them the Internet services portion of Paonia.com.

We firmly believe that this decision will benefit our customers. Only Internet-related services will be transferred, including dialup Internet, broadband wireless, web hosting and email. Computer settings, your email addresses and Broadband equipment will remain the same, and there is nothing that you need to do. Initially, there will be no noticeable change in your service except that Sopris Surfers will now handle billing and technical support. However, Sopris Surfers and Paonia.com have already started working on the next generation of network upgrades. The broadband will be the fastest ever offered in this Valley.

We thank you, our subscribers, for your patronage and support of our local business. Paonia.com had a vision to bring broadband to the North Fork before others thought it could be profitable or even possible, and it was a success. We believe that this new era of higher speed Internet will help the Valley prosper into the future.

Paonia.com will continue to reside in the same location. We're looking forward to expanding our other services. We will continue to work with current and future consulting clients and will be growing our structured cabling business for new and remodel construction.
